ON-SITE AMENITIES

This open-air festival offers restrooms, concessions, ATM machines, infant-changing stations, and seating with handicapped viewing. Food vendors here generally sell burgers, fries, nachos, pizza, burritos, ice cream, water, soft drinks, energy drinks, coffee, iced tea, and beer. LOCATION

RedBud National Motocross takes place at RedBud MX in Buchanan, Michigan. The address to plug into your GPS is 13638 Red Bud Trail North in Buchanan, MI. While driving in the area isn't difficult, visitors can expect long, winding country roads as they navigate the agricultural heart of Michigan.

RVING AT THE EVENT

Primitive RV camping without hookups is available at RedBud National. For campers, that means coming prepared with full water tanks. While this is a dry RV experience, there will be an outside water-fill service and sewer-pump service available for a fee. Small campfires inside rings are permitted as long as conditions aren't hazardously dry.

RV camping is the ultimate way to enjoy a motocross weekend! You can watch the races and engage in events during the day before making the short trek back to your RV whenever you want a snack, nap, or some time in nature. Attendees who choose RV camping can select between Fan Camping and Preferred Camping packages. For those wishing to stay as close to the track as possible, Preferred Camping offers more elite access. Here are some additional options for those looking for RV camping near the event:

• Bear Cave RV Campground: Enjoy a luxury experience with a clubhouse, pool, and playground just steps from your site. Those wishing to make an adventurous weekend out of their motocross visit can also utilize boat rentals, hiking trails, and fishing opportunities. Bear Cave is notably home to the only naturally formed cave in the entire state!

• Fuller's Resort and Campground: Situated along an 80-acre spring-fed lake, this idyllic spot offers 400 feet of sandy beach surrounded by wooded terrain that families have been enjoying since 1887. Perfect for families, Fuller's offers a game room, playground, snack shop, convenience store, and laundry facility. Guests can also rent boats for fishing days on the lake. 

• Riverfront Park Campground: Welcome to the majestic woods hugging the Dowagiac River! RV campers enjoy 30-amp and 50-amp service, full hookups, water, and electric. Riverfront also offers a small store, basketball court, firewood for sale, and acres of walking trails. This idyllic campground even provides kayaks to use in the pond. 

Extra tips for camping at RedBud National Motocross

• If you're planning to camp at RedBud National, all RVs must be out of their camping spots by 10 a.m. on Sunday. 

• Planning to bring a pet in the RV? Small pets are permitted for RV camping at RedBud National as long as they are leashed. You must also own or rent a campervan or RV with air conditioning for humane purposes when staying here overnight. 

• RedBud National does not provide showers for campers. However, non-flushing portable restrooms and restroom trailers with flushable toilets are available. 

• Generators are allowed at RV sites.

• Due to spotty Wi-Fi in the area, track management recommends having cash on hand in the event that digital payments can't be processed. 

• Plan your entry and exit times accordingly because the gates to the camping area are closed from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. daily.

Camping in Michigan in July can get a bit sticky! Make sure you have an RV with air conditioning to ensure that you can stay cool while resting between motocross events! When RV camping around Buchanan, take advantage of the many rivers, ponds, and lakes in the area to get in some boating or kayaking. While Clear Lake is the most popular lake for recreation in the area, there are 10 lakes within 113 miles of Buchanan.

WHERE TO STAY

Most people who visit Buchanan choose RV camping as a way to soak in the scenery and enjoy a budget-friendly trip. However, there are some hotel options in the area for those willing to drive a short distance between the track and their accommodations. Located 6 miles from Buchanan, Niles is home to several hotels that include the Hampton Inn Niles, Quality Inn and Suites Niles, and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Niles.

HOW TO GET THERE

The closest airport to Buchanan is South Bend International Airport (SBN) located 15 miles away in South Bend, Indiana. When driving in, visitors can use the following routes:

From Chicago: Take the I-94 East thru Indiana. Take exit 4 A in Michigan (US-12 East). Go about 18 miles to a stoplight, turn left on Red Bud Trail. The main track entrance (for spectators) is about 5 miles on the left-hand side. Look for signs to the pro pit entrance about a ½ mile before the spectator entrance.

From Ohio: Take the toll road (80) to exit 72 in Indiana (South Bend West exit). Go north on US-31 to exit 3 in Michigan (US-12 West). Turn left and go approximately 2 miles to the first stoplight. Turn right on Red Bud Trail. The main track entrance (for spectators) is about 5 miles on the left-hand side. Look for signs to the pro pit entrance about a ½ mile before the spectator entrance.

From Detroit: Take I-94 West to exit 30 (Benton Harbor). Turn left off the exit ramp and go about 1 mile to US-31 South. Go to exit 13 (Snow Rd.) and turn right off exit ramp. Go to the first stop sign and turn left onto Red Bud Trail. Main track entrance (for spectators) is about 5 miles on the side. Look for signs to the pro pit entrance about a ½ mile before the spectator entrance.

From Indianapolis: Take US-31 North Almost to South Bend. Take the US-31 bypass North just before getting into South Bend. Go to exit 3 in Michigan. Turn left and go approx. 2 miles to the first stoplight. Turn right on Red Bud Trail. The main track entrance (for spectators) is about 5 miles on the left-hand side. Look for signs to the pro pit entrance about a ½ mile before the spectator entrance.

PARKING

General parking outside the fence for those not camping at the event is free. While not required, reserved parking for cars is available inside Gate 1 and Gate 3 for $50.

TICKETS & PRICING

Adult tickets for RedBud National Motocross 2025 range in price from $75 for Saturday-only general admission to $130 for Wednesday-through-Sunday general admission. Tickets for kids under 12 are $35 to $55. 2025 pricing details can be found on the official ticketing website here.
