RV Rentals at Ironman National Motocross

The Ironman Raceway track offers elevation changes, drops, jumps, and hills, including Godzilla, a massive uphill jump. On the day of racing, you can see motorcycle athletes compete, plus you can check out Sponsor Village or Vendor Row and taste local fare. 

ON-SITE AMENITIES

The Ironman track has grandstand and open-air festival seating, with a handicapped viewing area, covered Super Ticket Seating, and VIP Viewing Areas. There is nearly 100% track viewing from a number of vantage points. There are also multiple concessions and vendors to purchase food and merchandise from.

LOCATION

Ironman Raceway sits in the shadow of the motorsports mecca of Indianapolis. And while the big city is just a short drive down the highway, you’ll find yourself in the middle of small-town America in Crawfordsville.

RVING AT THE EVENT

Dry camping is available at the Ironman National Motocross with Fan Camping and Preferred Camping Options. By camping at the event, you can easily head to and from your RV in between races, and you won’t have to worry about beating the crowds for a parking spot outside the main gates.

Here are some tips for dry camping at the Ironman National:

• The gates at the campgrounds open Thursday at noon and close from midnight to 6:00 a.m. daily, so be sure to be at your campsite during those hours.

• Vehicles within the campground need to have a camping permit to stay overnight.

• All camping spaces are no wider than 20 feet, so make sure your RV will fit. 

• Pets are allowed at campsites, but they are not allowed in the fan viewing areas on Saturday during the events. 

WHERE TO STAY

If you’d prefer to camp with full hookups, you may try staying at another campground near Lafayette. You can also check out a hotel near the track for additional accommodations. 

• The Crawfordsville KOA has full hookups for RVs, and there’s free Wi-Fi available. The campground has an outdoor pool and a picnic pavilion, too. 

• The Sugar Creek Campground offers both 30- and 50-amp electrical hookups plus water and sewage hookups. Plenty of recreational activities are available to try on-site before and after the races, like kayaking, fishing, and tubing.

• The Riviera Motel is one of the closest hotels to the Ironman Raceway. It has free Wi-Fi for guests, free parking, and is near many restaurants and small shops. 

HOW TO GET THERE

From Indianapolis: Take I-74 W to Exit 39 for IN-32 W to Crawfordsville. Turn right onto E Market St. Then turn left onto N Washington St. Turn right onto IN-47 S/W South Blvd (continue to follow IN-47 S). Finally, turn right onto Co Rd 200 S. The track is on the left.

PARKING

There are two paid parking lots for visitors to the Ironman National. Rates may increase for parking spaces closer to the track, and prices for parking are to be announced.

TICKETS & PRICING

Tickets range in price, but general admission prices start at $75 per person. Youth tickets are also available, and tickets for preferred seating may become available closer to the day of the event.
