The 2025 Coke Zero Sugar 400 is the NASCAR Cup Series regular season finale. Its outcome determines who secures the final playoff spots of the season. The race dates back to 1959, and it was the first stock car race ever held under artificial lighting at the Daytona International Speedway in 1998. In recent years, the race has developed a reputation for close finishes with the previous 21 winners averaging a slim 0.154-second margin of victory. The stiff competition is even more intense now that the race concludes the Cup Series season. With drivers angling for their own "win and you're in" finish, it's among the most unpredictable events in NASCAR.
