RV Rentals at Annual Wellborn Blueberry Festival
Since 1994, the annual Wellborn Blueberry Festival has been held in downtown Wellborn's Andrews Square on the first Saturday in June. It has served to celebrate the harvest of blueberries in the summer and as the primary fundraiser for the Wellborn Community Association to support their goal to enhance community life in Wellborn and its surrounding areas. The annual blueberry pancake breakfast will be served! Wellborn residents and visitors alike look forward to this delicious yearly breakfast.
ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT
The festival also offers live local entertainment, games for the kids, arts and crafts, a car show, plants for sale, and more. Browse vendor booths or shop the Country Store to find delicious blueberry treats to take home—choose from handmade pies, cobblers, syrups, jams, and more! There is also a petting zoo and pony rides for the kids. Discover unique handcrafted items from over 100 vendors. The Annual Wellborn Blueberry Festival also hosts a classic car show and a lively parade that excites people of all ages. There is a $20 entry fee to display your classic car at the show. Come for the blueberries and stay for the fun!
ON-SITE AMENITIES
There are bathrooms available at the festival and areas where you can sit and enjoy the parade, so make sure to bring a lawn chair. Over 100 vendors will also be present, selling unique handcrafted items. You can shop at the booths or enjoy the delicious blueberry treats, including the blueberry pancake breakfast. Pancakes are served at three locations: behind the fire station near the country store, the Wellborn Baptist Church, and the Wellborn Community Association Center. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for kids. The blueberry pancakes will only be served between 7 am to 10 am. Since thousands of people attend the festival each year, you will want to come early if you want to partake. When they run out, they will stop serving.

The small downtown area blocks traffic during the event so they can have the parade and vendors can set up booths. The area around the festival can become congested with traffic, so leave plenty of time to find parking.

The Annual Wellborn Blueberry Festival does not offer on-site RV parking because the event takes place in downtown Wellborn and lasts only a few hours. WHERE TO STAY
Although it is fun to RV, since the event only happens for a single day, some people like to stay in a hotel for a short getaway. There are several hotels near Wellborn, including Quality Inn White Springs, La Quinta Inn & Suites, and Holiday Inn at Lake City. Most of these hotels have pools, free breakfasts, and other amenities that add to the fun of your trip to the Annual Wellborn Blueberry Festival.
HOW TO GET THERE
Wellborn is located in North Central Florida in eastern Suwannee County, near the border of Columbia County. It is about halfway between Lake City and Live Oak, just off Highway 90. Wellborn's proximity to I-10 and I-75 makes it a convenient travel distance from Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Valdosta, and Gainesville, with Orlando and Tampa both less than three hours away. From the north/south, take I-75 and get off on exit 427 (Lake City Hwy 90). Go west about 10 miles and then turn right on CR137. Go to the blinking light and turn left to 8th Avenue. If traveling from the east/west, take I-10 and get off on exit 292 (Wellborn CR137). Go South to the blinking light and turn left. PARKING
Parking is available at the Masonic Lodge on 137 and Wellborn Baptist Church. There is a trolley service to transport you to and from the festival area. Parking areas can fill up fast, so getting there early in the morning is best. Watch for police and citizens directing traffic.
