RVING AT THE EVENT

Campers are allowed at the North Dakota State Fair. The fee is $300 for a nine-day stay and $30 a day for additional days. You can reserve your spot in advance. HOW TO GET THERE

From Fargo and all points east: Proceed to Fargo. From there, take Route 94 west to Jamestown. Follow Route 52 north, and then follow the signs to stay on Route 52. This road will take you all the way to Minot. From Bismarck: Drive north on Route 83, which goes all the way to Minot. From Williston and all points west: Take Route 2 north until it branches east at the junction with Route 85. Continue following Route 2 east to the junction with Route 52. Take Route 52 east-southeast to Minot.

PARKING

The North Dakota State Fair offers free car parking on the east side of the grounds, accessible from County Road 19. Additionally, you can park at the Dakota Square Mall throughout the duration of the fair if there are no spots available at the fair's free parking lot. The North Dakota State Fair runs free shuttle buses daily that go between the Dakota Square Mall and Gate E at the fairgrounds. The parking lot at the Dakota Square Mall is free.
