Located about 4 miles from downtown, this beautiful park has easy access to Watson Lake and the Granite Dells. Campers can rent kayaks and canoes to use on the lake. Large fields are available for dry RV camping.
Camping at Watson Lake gives you access to two boat launches, fish cleaning stations, picnic areas, restrooms and showers, horseshoe pits, and hiking trails. If you’re camping with a large family, the children can enjoy the on-site playground. Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy many catches on the lake.
“What an unbelievably and fantastic beautiful lake! This has to be one of the most amazing lakes in the world, especially if you love red rock. The geography is unique, unlike anywhere else. There is a fee to get in, but it’s reasonable, $2 when I went. I can’t wait to come back with a kayak or something. Sunrises and sunsets here are spectacular. Plenty of space to be alone, even though it’s located right outside Prescott. Do not confuse this lake with Willow Creek reservoir.”
