Lakeport State Park features two Port Huron, Michigan, campgrounds on the shore of Lake Huron. It is administered by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Many sites offer beautiful views of the lake.
Lakeport State Park offers easy access to Lake Huron. It is a beautiful location that offers children a great time on the shore of the lake and in the woodland areas. The park oversees weekly nature programs.
“Campground has beautiful trails, long stretch of beach, great for rock picking and swimming. Sites are nice. My husband and son camp every summer and we walk the trails year-round. The day use park is equally nice. Large beach and plenty of grills and tables, you don’t have to cross the main road, a walking bridge takes you over, and it’s fenced in. Our family loves it.” – Alicia, Google review
