Forsyth KOA is located between Macon and Atlanta right off Interstate 75. Although it is centrally located, this campground also has a quiet, country-like feel. You’ll be able to enjoy many local and regional attractions
Forsyth KOA is near beautiful lakes, waterfalls and rivers. You can fish for fat catfish and play some basketball or volleyball. See the spot where “Fried Green Tomatoes” was filmed or go swimming in Lake Juliette. There are many fascinating spots to visit in the area, including the Tara Museum and the Cherry Blossom Festival.
“Overall the place is OK as a stop for the night. Store is well stocked, and they even sell pizza here, so a plus if you don’t want to drive. Friendly staff. Seems like some people stay for extended periods and some of the sites needs a little TLC. Restroom facilities are average but was expecting it due to the facility’s age. Close to El Tejado Mexican restaurant, which is excellent.” – Luis, Google Review
