Baker Campground is located inside the Baker Park Reserve, a 2,700-acre natural reserve on scenic Lake Independence. More than 200 sites are available to choose from, and picnic tables, fire pits, and clean restrooms and showers are just some of the amenities you will find here.
Baker Park Reserve has a play area, picnic areas, miles of biking and hiking trails, beautiful sandy beaches for swimming and sunbathing, watercraft rentals, and more. Baker Near-Wilderness Settlement, a Twin Cities Environmental Learning Center, is a lodge-style center located within the reserve where guests can participate in educational programs and view displays about the reserve.
