Urban Camping in Kansas

Urban Camping

While many see Kansas as farming country, it is an excellent place for an urban camping adventure. Wichita, Overland Park, and Kansas City have fantastic sites to visit, including the Museum of World Treasures, the Museum of Prairiefire, and the CW Parker Carousel Museum. You will also want to spend time playing on the Missouri and Arkansas Rivers. You can usually find great weather during the spring, summer, and fall to go exploring.
