This campground is part of the Dixie Caverns, which is a naturally occurring cave in the mountain that stretches on for miles underground. The cavern will take some time to fully explore, and you’ll get to see the formation of living rock that slowly has been working over millions of years growing in every direction. When you’re done in the cavern, you can go relax on spacious campsites in a peaceful campground.
The campground is not only great for visiting the cavern but also makes an excellent home base for exploring the area. Roanoke is near other attractions like Civil War historical sites. A beautiful family camping location that sits right on Paradise Lake gives campers the opportunity to enjoy all sorts of water sports. The campground is located close to the highway, so traveling to other destinations and attractions in the state is a breeze.
There are a lot of things to love about this campground. There are plenty of games and activities for all the family members to engage in. The lake is great for recreation, and there are a bunch of trails throughout the area. There is a general store, and you can even rent golf carts to get around.

This is a nice rural park that runs seasonally from May until October. There are many large campsites with full hookups, level pads, and trees for privacy. The staff is excellent and very accommodating to guest needs.
