Mujeres Valley Campground is a 20-acre BIPOC safe-space located in a secluded area of Cibola County, around 10 miles from the Continental Divide that has been reclaimed after over 100 years of being kept from Indigenous people. The campground is built with sustainability and respect for Mother Earth in mind. There are 20 camping spaces available. This campground is dry camping only.
Mujeres Valley Campground is tucked up against large private properties and Bureau of Land Management land. There are open spaces, private spaces and community spaces available on the grounds with walkways outlined in ancient trees and volcanic rocks. The property is filled with amazing finds like pottery, crystals and volcanic rock mounds that lift you to some of the most beautiful views of the surrounding areas! This area is a remote subdivision with plenty of open land to set up a tent or small camper, enjoy hiking on our private mountain and experience nature all around you.
Situated on top of a hill just south of Santa Fe, this campground offers an unobstructed view of the entire Santa Fe area. The 17 acres that encompass the park are home to 55 pull-through and 43 back-in sites, modern restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities, and plenty of hiking trails. The campground is also pet-friendly, so guests are able to bring along the entire family!
Because of the convenient location, you’ll be able to visit the many attractions that the city of Santa Fe has to offer. There are two major shopping malls, restaurants, and other local shops, as well as some historic sites and museums that visitors can enjoy- including El Rancho de Las Golondrinas, a 17th century Spanish Colonial Living History Museum, and the Turquoise Trail, which is home to the historic villages of Cerrillos.
