Mujeres Valley Campground is a 20-acre BIPOC safe-space located in a secluded area of Cibola County, around 10 miles from the Continental Divide that has been reclaimed after over 100 years of being kept from Indigenous people. The campground is built with sustainability and respect for Mother Earth in mind. There are 20 camping spaces available. This campground is dry camping only.
Mujeres Valley Campground is tucked up against large private properties and Bureau of Land Management land. There are open spaces, private spaces and community spaces available on the grounds with walkways outlined in ancient trees and volcanic rocks. The property is filled with amazing finds like pottery, crystals and volcanic rock mounds that lift you to some of the most beautiful views of the surrounding areas! Located in northern New Mexico, Ponil Campgrounds is a day away from Taos, Santa Fe, and Red River sites. This pet- and family-friendly campground sits within Cimarron, NM, which is famous for its art galleries, museums, home-style restaurants, and 1930s soda fountain. The sites are spacious with mature trees providing shade and grassy swathes to satisfy pets and children.
Ponil Campgrounds provides 27 RV campsites with full hookups. Those sites without trees are covered to provide relief from the sun. Restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are available inside the campground. Together with the 30- and 50-amp electrical services, the campground provides a satellite TV hookup and a robust Wi-Fi system. Each site is equipped with a fire ring, grill, and picnic table.
