How to Choose the Best RV Park

Choosing from the many RV retirement communities is such a personal matter. What works for you may not work for the next person, and it all depends on where you want to go and which amenities are most important for you.

For retirees, we recommend checking in with the following factors before making a decision:

  • Is the campground in a temperate climate? If not, are you willing to slog through the snow or visit only in the summer months?
  • Does the campground offer monthly or seasonal rates?
  • Are there community events to enjoy on-site?
  • Is the campground ADA accessible?
  • What sorts of amenities are available and do they appeal to you?

Hopefully this list helps you pick from the enormous number of RV retirement communities out there so you can jump into the fun part: getting to know your new neighbors, exploring a new area, and living life to the fullest!
