This time of the year has great celebrations and events, like Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, but does not have large crowds. The weather in October is also great for walking outdoors.

Ticket Information

Magic Kingdom tickets should be bought online before arriving at the park. Date-specific ticket reservations are required in order to keep the Magic Kingdom from reaching capacity. Visitors have the option to purchase single-day Standard park tickets and Park Hopper tickets. Single-day tickets range from $109-$189 per day. Park Hopper ticket add-ons allow you to visit more than one park on the same day.

Located in the middle of the Sunshine State, Lake Buena Vista is typically a comfortable temperature with an average annual temperature of 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Here, the coldest month of the year is January. However, temperatures typically do not drop below 45 degrees. When packing for your trip to the Magic Kingdom, bring clothes for warm weather that can also be layered. If you are traveling in the winter months, a light jacket is a good choice. In the summer, pack sunscreen and loose clothing. At the Magic Kingdom, weather conditions don't typically close the park. However, there may be certain attractions or rides at the park that close during thunderstorms to ensure the safety of employees and guests.
