Cedar Creek State Park RV & Campground Guide

West Virginia

Cedar Creek State Park

sits on 2,588 acres near Glenville in West Virginia's central region and less than 25 miles from Gassaway and Sutton. In 1955, Cedar Creek joined the state park system. The park office is a fully restored log cabin, previously known as a Gilmer County historical landmark. Further adding to the park's charming appearance, a reconstructed schoolhouse, which was originally built in 1910, was relocated to the park in 1989. The rolling hills and wide valleys of this park provide the perfect picturesque setting for outdoor recreational opportunities, from swimming to enjoyable family strolls. The park is the home to three lakes, with a mere 8 acres of exceptional bank fishing.
