A popular spot for campers coming from nearby Fairfield, Ward Prairie, Turlington and many other places in the state and around the country, the park has tons to do both in the water and on land. The roughly 1,460-acre state park makes a great RVing destination for anyone looking for someplace to get away. Temperatures at Fairfield Lake State Park tend to be fairly warm throughout the year, with summer really peaking in terms of heat. Winters can be chilly but are still relatively warm depending on the month. Fairfield Lake State Park Campground

Fairfield Lake State Park has several options for people who would like to camp out on the park grounds. There are three main camping spots to choose from with a total of 136 sites. Over 90 of these sites include water and electrical hookups and start at $20 per night. All camping sites in the park give you access to things like showers, restrooms, fire rings, grills, playground equipment, and more while you're there. Pets are also welcome as long as they don't bother other campers. Phone reception isn't great but is of little concern when there's so much nature to explore.

Fisherman's Point Marina

Fisherman's Point Marina in nearby Streetman offers campers a lovely waterside campground to spend their vacation in fun and luxury. In total, there are 55 spaces available, and the majority of them have water, sewer and electrical hookups. Spaces with just water and electric or water only are also available. Spots start at $42 per night with a $5 additional fee for every person in the party above four people. In exchange, you'll get great benefits like large concrete RV pads, water access (with a gorgeous view), restrooms and showers, an on-site general store and a restaurant. Pets are also welcome on the grounds.

Lazy Bottom Retreat RV Park Resort

At Lazy Bottom Retreat RV Park Resort, you can enjoy the great outdoors in a scenic forested area complete with all sorts of exciting things to do and great amenities to enjoy. All 15 of the park's 50-foot RV spots are available for $30 a night with the option to lodge a horse for use on their riding trails for an additional $10 each day. The park also offers electrical, water and sewer hookups at all spots as well as free Wi-Fi throughout the area. Showers, restrooms, trash service and a fully stocked fishing lake with equipment for rent are offered to guests, and there's the added benefit of being able to take your pets with you everywhere.

If you're vacationing at Fairfield Lake State Park, you're in for the time of your life. How to Get to
Fairfield Lake State Park

In order to get to Fairfield Lake State Park, you should ideally head out from the city of Fairfield, which is easy to get to from several major roadways and neighboring towns. Heading out, you'll want to stick to East Main Street for close to two miles before bearing to the right of the road and onto FM-2570. A little over a mile after that, take a right onto FM-3285 and travel another three miles to turn left onto Ranch Road 3285. Shortly after that is State Park Road 64, which will lead you to the park itself.

Entering Fairfield Lake State Park

To enter Fairfield Lake State Park, you'll want to look to the left side of Ranch Road 3285 to see where to turn off onto State Park Road 64. You'll see the gate where you can pay your entry fee. The park stays open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. under normal situations.
