Hampton Beach State Park covers 50 acres of oceanfront area at the southeastern corner of New Hampshire. Located within the city limits of Hampton Beach, this park is a popular spot for vacationers looking for an ocean view. Visitors love the miles of sandy beach that line either side of the peninsula. Easy access and a quiet ocean atmosphere attract visitors from the large metropolitan areas of Portland, ME, which is 65 miles to the north, and Boston, MA, which is 48 miles to the south.

The main attractions at this 50-acre campground are the sandy beaches, a lifeguarded swimming area and miles of trails that weave through the dunes. Each of the 28 campsites offers electrical, water, and sewer hookups. Visitors to this park enjoy various activities, including angling, hiking, biking, swimming, boating, and picnicking. Tuxbury Pond RV Resort
Tuxbury Pond RV Resort is situated in South Hampton, NH, just 12 miles west of Hampton Beach State Park. It is located inland but still has access to a beach if you are willing to take a short hike. There are 316 campsites of various sizes, which include picnic tables and fire rings. Other amenities in the resort are restrooms with showers, a camp store, an office, a clubhouse, a swimming pool, laundry facilities, and a fishing pond. Wakeda Campground is only four miles west of Hampton Beach State Park. If no RV sites are available at the state park, then this facility is a viable alternative. How to Get to
Hampton Beach State Park
Most interstate visitors to Hampton Beach State Park come from the north via Portland, ME, or the south by way of Boston, MA. To reach the park from Portland, take Interstate 95 South (I-95 S) for 55 miles to Exit 2 that will take you on New Hampshire Highway 101 (NH-101) into the city of Hampton.
When approaching from Boston, take United States Highway 1 North (US-1 N) for 14 miles. Turn right onto the ramp toward Interstate 95 N (I-95 N) and Portsmouth, NH. Travel another 25 miles on I-95 N, and take Exit 1 toward Seabrook, NH. In Seabrook, take a right onto US-1 and follow it to Hampton.
To get from Hampton to Hampton Beach State Park, take NH-101 for four miles to the park entrance.

Summers at Hampton Beach State Park are moderate, ranging from 52 to 82 degrees. Winters get very cold, regularly seeing temperatures as low as 15 degrees and typically experiencing lots of snowfall.
Most people find summer to be the best season to visit Hampton Beach State Park. Between June and September, you'll enjoy the warmest and sunniest weather with the lowest chances of rain.
Pets are only allowed on the beach between October 1 and April 30. Pets at the park must always be cleaned up after and must remain on leashes of no longer than six feet.
