Reed Bingham State Park is less than six miles from Interstate-75. The state park is 7.5 miles east of Adel, and about 18 miles southeast of Hahira; Tifton is another nearby city, making it ideal for exploring and sightseeing. The 375-acre lake is beautifully lined with fragrant water lilies and tupelo trees. The state park features various wildlife, including yellow-bellied sliders, gopher tortoises, American alligators, and indigo snakes; in winter, nesting bald eagles are often seen. Nearly 80% of the Coastal Plain's plant community can be found along the Coastal Plain's Nature Trail. When visiting, you'll love the mild temperatures; however, it might be wise to bring a sweater or jacket for the chilly nights.

How to Get to
Reed Bingham State Park
From downtown Adel, head south on North Hutchinson Avenue towards East 4th Street, turn right at the 1st cross street onto GA-37 West/West 4th Street. Follow GA-37 for about 6.6 miles, and then turn right onto Evergreen Church Road. In a short distance, turn left onto Reed Bingham Road, and the state park will be on the right.
