Hartman Creek State Park RV & Campground Guide

Wisconsin

Hartman Creek State Park

is located on beautiful Chain O' Lakes, where seven lakes with crystal clear waters flow. Before becoming a state park in 1966, Hartman Creek was originally a fish hatchery where dams were built to create four spring-fed lakes: Middle, Allen, Grebe, and Hartman. The park area is comprised of oak and pine trees, swamps, and waterfalls, making it the perfect environment for squirrels, hawks, waterfowl, box turtles, and migratory birds. This natural gem of a park sits on a section of the terminal moraine of the Wisconsin glacier. The park is near the cities of Waupaca, New London, and Weyauwega.
