Cumberland Mountain State Park RV & Campground Guide
Tennessee
At more than 1,700 acres of beautiful southeastern countryside situated around and alongside the scenic Byrd Lake, Cumberland Mountain State Park is a popular destination for both Tennessee locals and those coming from further afield -- and for good reason. Along with its array of fun outdoor activities to pursue, it’s also home to a variety of modern conveniences and amenities like picnic pavilions, rentable cabins, a restaurant, and a full-size golf course.
Those drawn to the water will find ample opportunities for paddling, swimming, and fishing, and there are plenty of hiking trails to tackle if you’d rather keep your feet on dry land. The park is also popular amongst bird watchers, who come to see the herons, belted kingfishers, and ducks who flock to this park to weather the long northern winters.
