How to Get to
Poe Valley State Park
If you are traveling from Potters Mills, you want to head east on U.S. 322 for 1.5 miles until you reach the top of the Seven Mountains Scenic Area. From this spot, you need to follow the marked state road for 10 miles. These signs will lead you into Poe Valley State Park.
For those coming from the town of Millheim, you should go west on PA 45 for 1.5 miles. The state road will head south for 12 miles. Make sure to follow the signs into the park.

Poe Valley State Park typically experiences very harsh winters and moderate summers. During winter, it can get as chilly as 14 degrees with lots of snowfall. The summers usually range from 54 to 83 degrees.
You can visit the park during winter for fun activities like snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. For other activities, the best time to visit is between June and August when it's nice and warm.
