Geneva State Park occupies 698 acres along the shores of Lake Erie in Ashtabula County, Ohio. It is a popular RV destination, thanks to its relaxing atmosphere and range of activities, including fishing, hunting, hiking, and boating. The park has an elevation of 587 feet, providing beautiful vistas of Lake Erie and the surrounding areas. There is a long list of summer and winter activities that make the park ideal for visiting any time of the year. Outside the park, you can take wine tours and explore the local cuisine at restaurants in the nearby cities of Ashtabula, Geneva, and Conneaut, Ohio.

Geneva State Park Campground
Geneva State Park Campground offers 93 sites with electric hookups and can accommodate trailers and RVs up to 45 feet. Most of the campsites are in the woods and a short distance from the shores of the lake. Only four campsites offer full hookups, so you have to book early if you need these. You can bring your pets as long as you keep them on a 6-foot leash, and you have to pick up after them. However, there is a limit of two pets to a campsite. You can reserve a site up to six months early. Nightly rates start at $14.50 and an additional reservation fee of $6.50.

Willow Lake Campground
Willow Lake Campground occupies 180 acres of land only two miles from Geneva-on-the-Lake. Its location near Lake Erie and the GOTL strip makes it a popular RV destination. Inside the campground are 125 seasonal camping sites, 55 of which offer full hookups. You can bring a pet as long as you keep it on a leash and pick after it. While at the park, you can enjoy fishing, boating, and hiking. Nightly rates start at $50 with full hookup for two adults.

Geneva State Park is a place for nature lovers. It has two miles of trails where visitors can track animals and enjoy breathtaking vistas of Lake Erie and the surrounding areas. Bring your Ohio hunting license if you plan to hunt deer and birds while in the park. Water activities such as fishing, boating, and swimming are common along the shores of Lake Erie.
How to Get to
Geneva State Park
You can access Geneva State Park from major towns in Ohio, including Toledo, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Youngstown, and Columbus. From Cleveland, drive east for one hour along route I-90. From I-90, follow State Route 534 and then turn left onto Lake Road. Along Lake Road, you will only drive for six miles to get to the park.
If you are coming from Cincinnati or Columbus, take route I-71 and drive to I-271 East, and then from there, drive to Lake Road, where you’ll travel for six miles to the park. The address for Geneva State Park is 4499 Padanarum Rd, Geneva, OH 44041.
