Proud Lake Recreation Area

The nearest major cities to Proud Lake Recreation Area are Detroit and Cleveland. Traveling from Detroit, you will first want to take W Jefferson Ave to M-10 N, or John C Lodge Fwy. From there, you will continue along M-10 N then take I-696 W to Wixom Rd in Wixom. Next, take exit 159. Finally, just continue along Wixom Rd until you reach the destination in Commerce Charter Township. 

Coming from Cleveland, you will begin the route on I-90 W from Ontario St. Continue along this road until you can take I-75 N and I-275 N to Wixom Rd. Lastly, take exit 159 and proceed through the rest of the route the same you would if you were coming from Detroit.
