Sebastian Inlet State Park Campground
The best way to experience everything the park has to offer is to book a site in the Sebastian Inlet State Park campground. Choose from 51 sites, each with electricity and water hookups as well as a private picnic table and fire ring. Restrooms and a dump station are close to every site. If you need to get online, head to the marina and connect to the free Wi-Fi network. Sites cost $28 per night; this does not include taxes or the $6.70 reservation fee.
Vero Beach Kamp
Located 10 miles south of Sebastian Inlet State Park, Vero Beach Kamp is a luxurious base camp for your trip. Book one of the park’s grassy full-hookups sites. Each one offers a picnic table and cable TV service, so it’s easy to relax after a day in the sun. Enjoy a light activity at the shuffleboard, horseshoe, and bocce ball areas, or take the kids to the swimming pool or playground. If you’re craving a campfire, you’ll find established rings in the park. With restrooms, showers, a laundry area, and a dump station, this campground makes every part of your vacation more comfortable. In the high season, the hosts often plan group activities that make it easy to mingle with other campers. Summer rates start at $46.50 per night; winter rates rise to $61 per night. If you’re coming to Sebastian Inlet State Park for the water, you have plenty of options. The park has a long, beautiful beach that’s perfect for sunbathing and swimming, and it also has a boat ramp. Be sure to watch the surfers as you relax by the shore, and if you’re an experienced surfer yourself, join in the fun on the Monster Hole and First Peak waves. On the other side of the park, the calm Indian River Lagoon is perfect for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. Learn about the history of fishing in the region at the Sebastian Fishing Museum, or discover the experiences of Spanish fortune-seekers at the McLarty Treasure Museum. Away from the water, you can mountain bike on three trails, hike the Hammock Trail, or go birding. In June and July, join a ranger program to see the loggerhead sea turtles as they make nests in the sand, and from March to October, you can spot manatees from the jetty and the shore.

Sebastian Inlet State Park is located off of the A1A highway, which runs along the Intracoastal Waterway. You can access this road from the north and the south. The closest entry point is via FL-510 near Wabasso.

Sebastian Inlet State Park is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. The campground, however, has a gate that locks. If you’re coming in late, be sure to call ahead to get instructions for getting in.
