If you’re after amenities, this is the place to be—your site rental gives you access to a laundry room, dump station, hot showers, Wi-Fi, and a handy park store for essentials. Each of the 142 RV sites comes with a picnic table and a view of the ocean or mountains. You can even choose the view you’d like during the booking process. All RV sites include full or partial hookups and cable TV, so it’s easy to relax after a long day. As you’re booking this campground, keep in mind that every site has a different capacity, both in terms of RV size and the available car parking. Bring your big rig—the park can accommodate RVs up to 42 feet long. Prices start at $45 a night for a mountain-view site with water and 30-amp electric hookups.

Malibu Creek State Park Campground

Malibu Creek State Park Campground is a lovely spot surrounded by lush green hills. If you’re a fan of the TV show “M*A*S*H,” you might recognize the landscape—before it was a park, the area was a filming location for the show. Book one of the 63 campsites and wake up to views of the Conejo Volcanics and the lush California greenery. This campground can accommodate RVs up to 30 feet long.
