This was an absolute criminal experience. After driving 2000 miles to our destination in Arkansas (this destination was clearly communicated to the RV owners), the RV owners delivered the RV & were subsequently informed by US Army Corps of Engineers Park Rangers that RVshare's type of rental operation was NOT LEGAL in any US Federal camping or recreation sites.
This was an unfortunate situation. We followed RVshare’s policies exactly, including their cancellation and security deposit process; RVshare—not us—retained the deposit per their platform rules.
We made good-faith efforts to help resolve the situation and declined to participate in anything illegal.
