Insurance and protection
Take comfort in knowing that for the duration of your trip, you'll be covered under RVshare's Protection Plan. Insurance and protection is automatically included in the quote when you're booking an RV. Learn more about the RVshare Protection Plan and your coverage.
Choosing the best size RV
With so many options to choose from, it can be difficult to narrow down the best size RV rental for your trip. We recommend considering the number of guests, amenities you would like, the mileage you plan on traveling and a few others to make the most of your vacation.
Driving and parking the RV
Understand differences between RV types and what you're most comfortable with operating. Oftentimes, the owner will give you a test drive, and here are some drivable, towable and parking tips - or when in doubt, opt for delivery!
Water and electrical hook ups
Many campsites provide access to water and electricity and all you'll need to do is hook it up. To make sure your campground has the same hookups as your RV, check out our guides on electrical and water hookups.
Water tanks
Did you know your RV might have a freshwater, black and gray tank? Depending on the RV, you may have three water tanks while you're renting. Keeping an eye on the levels is a good first step. To deep dive into the differences, review the water tank 101.
Owners have the ability to choose between three different cancellation policies: strict, standard, or flexible. You can find the details of the cancellation policy for this RV in the Rules and Policies section.
Is this RV covered by the RVshare Protection Plan?
The RVshare Protection Plan is activated on RV listings by the owner. If this RV is covered you can find the Insurance and Protection price in the Rates and Availability section. The cost for coverage will also be listed on your quote.
Can I get a discount for booking a longer trip?

Are there restrictions on mileage or generator usage?
Mileage and generator hours that are included in a rental vary by listing. You can view the nightly mileage and generator hours that are included when renting this RV, as well as fees for excess mileage and generator usage, in the Rates and Availability section.
