Very disappointing experience. A wasp nest outside the kitchen hood vent allowed wasps to enter the RV, creating a serious safety concern and forcing us to end our family vacation early. Neither the owner nor RVshare provided replacement lodging, and we were offered only a $130 refund despite spending over $1,200. This safety issue should have been identified before the RV was rented.
I'm sorry you had to end your trip early. As discussed, there was no bee nest. The bees were attracted to the smell of food from the stove and swarmed to the vent. Despite this, I still filed all necessary claims to get you a refund. Unfortunately, RVshare has their own fees for insurance that I can't control, so I wasn't able to issue the full refund.
My wife and I had a great time staying at Lake Siskiyou in Melinda’s RV. We had them set up the Rv at the campsite before our arrival and it was perfectly level and positioned at the site with the A/C on and nice and cool inside when we arrived on a very hot August day. Everything worked in the RV and we had zero problems.
This trailer was exactly what we needed! It was great working with Melinda and appreciated her prompt communication.
My boyfriend and I rented this RV with our dog and it was a great size for us. The bed is a good size and we appreciated the cabinets in the back for storage. Communication with Melinda was excellent and they made drop off and pickup so easy! Limited amenities so you’ll need to bring your own cooking tools, plates, etc., but it’s clear about that in the listing.
Melinda was great! Kept communication open our entire trip. Trailer was exactly what my two kids and I needed to keep cool and comfortable during a week long trip!
