We took the Minnie to Texas for a week of camping on the beach. The off-grid capable girl gave us reliable power and other necessities for a wonderful time! The trip was over 3,000 miles!
The Winne has a 350 Ford engine with plenty of power and overdrive, a nice gas-saving feature on the highway. It is also features rear dual wheels. A stand alone generator is included for boondocking.
A rear ladder allows easy access to the roof, where cargo can be stored for your trip.
The cozy top bunk is a queen sized bed. It features a reading light and storage along the edges of the mattress.
A rear couch can be collapsed into a queen bed. There is also a second removable table and storage under the bed, with access from the inside and outside through a locking cargo door.
The kitchen features a 4 burner propane stove and oven with outside venting hood and light. All operate flawlessly.
The entry in the rear is joined by two closets to hang your clothes with ample storage.
The bathroom was remodeled in 2024. It features a vessel sink with a Northern Colorado milled pine slab as the backsplash. All of the Winne’s plumbing was also completely replaced.
A full-sized medicine cabinet in the bathroom has been carefully restored and placed above the sink in the bathroom.
The 15” led tv comes with a pedestal and features hdmi inputs. It plugs into a dc inverter, that runs off the Winne’s on board dual-battery system. The batteries can be charged while driving.
Gas shocks hold up cabinet doors for easy access and ample storage around the Winne’s entire interior walls. Each bed comes with fresh queen-sized linens, carefully covered and ready for use!
One of two full-length closets come with hangers and plenty of storage space for your clothes.
A second closet comes with an easily removable organizer so you can organize your clothes any way you would like.
The Winne has empty and clean storage, so you can organize your things and easily pack them away in latching cabinets for your trip.
A four person removable table can be collapsed into a queen sized bed, or left as is. There are four seat belts at the table, so you can safely sit at the table while the vehicle is on the road.
The black sliding drawer low power consumption refrigerator is state of the art! Eventually, the curtain will be replaced with cabinetry, but for now, it can be easily removed for additional storage.
The cabin of the Winne is well planned and surprisingly roomy! This is the view from the back. While traveling, there are lap belts seatbelts for a total of 5 passengers.
A Bluetooth-enabled charger charges your phone wirelessly and connects to Winne's vintage cassette tape player and radio.
A state-of-the-art low-power DC drawer refrigerator is on all the time. The temperature can be set to be used as a freezer if you want.
The Winne has four lap belts for passengers and a shoulder belt for the passenger next to the driver. It has seatbelts for up to five passengers and the driver (a total of six).
The rear couch folds out to fit two people. All of Winne's interior is original and in wonderful shape. It's very clean too.

Low Power state-of-the-art heating and cooling keeps "Winne" at a comfortable temperature, and it runs on the batteries -- even while you are driving.
Roof-mounted solar panels charge her on the go and while parked off-grid. There is usually no need for a generator, but one is included for cloudy days if needed!
Custom LED tail lights ensure safety on the road. These massive brake lights ensure you are visible when slowing down.
Every detail is considered with the "Winne's" upgrades. These marker LED lights are almost like the originals, ensuring visibility on all sides at night.
Sometimes technology wins over vintage -- that's why we chose to upgrade the porch light to an extremely bright LED, to give you light at night while loading and unloading the vehicle.
Brand new rocker switches give you a visual cue when your cabin lights are on, and include a display to give you battery voltage and USB charging all in one single high-tech panel.

    The owner Blaine bent over backwards to make our experience FABULOUS however making a 1989 vehicle rentable is a huge task that he could not make happen. The inside smell of diesel, the heater that would not work, there were 2 vents that let in so much cold air because the cranks were broken and the wind caused them to blow open and closed.

    Thank you for your feedback, the items have been addressed. This includes complete removal of the diesel heating system, with replacement of a brand new state of the art digital propane Fogatti furnace. I have determined that on your trip in particular the high altitude prevented the diesel system from firing properly. This won’t be a problem anymore, as it has been removed.

Yes, it was dated and had its share of quirks, but it was reliable, comfortable, and very well-suited for our family’s (of 4) needs.

    How much fun to hit the road in a vintage Winnebago! The RV is in great condition, and Blaine meticulously works on the upkeep.
