The RV didn’t have working AC in the cab. This made for a very hot and uncomfortable driving experience. The RV had a spotty passenger camera making it difficult to switch lanes. The outside awning, which was viewable in the listing pictures, didn’t work at all. The kuerig coffee machine had a crack in it and we were unable to make coffee.
Gary was a great host. When we had a minor engine problem his family responded immediately and were very helpful. The camper was clean and comfortable.
Overall, we had a great experience and a very memorable family adventure! I gave the RV 5 stars on everything except amenities which I gave a 4! You can’t expect everything to be perfect, but there were a couple things that we didn’t like and informed the owner. Gary was great to work with and he made the whole process as smooth as possible! It was a good learning experience as well!
Good RV for Appalachian trips - (relatively) easy to park, but has all the essentials. Diesel is really good on mountain roads. Communication with the owner was smooth, no problems with checkin/checkout.
However, the RV is not new and could benefit from some maintenance - some interior lights/USB ports don't work, shower head leaks a bit, right-side camera doesn't work, etc.
Viktar and his family were great renters. They return the RV in great shape. Unfortunately, we were unaware of the issues listed until now, they were not mentioned during the rental or upon return. We would have loved the opportunity to assist troubleshooting any issues. We make the extra effort to ensure that all maintenance is up to date. We appreciate the feedback.
Gary's RV was perfect for a trip for me and my friends. We had to cut our trip short unfortunately but will definitely be renting again from him!!!
We had a very pleasant and positive experience in a rental RV from Mr. Gary Cobb. He was readily available afterwards to answer questions, and to get us familiar with the functions and features of the vehicle.
