Leave plenty of time to check out the different scenic spots along the way: The Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, the Ohio Drive Bridge, and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial are three standout options. Rock Creek Trail
Walk, run, or bike next to the Potomac River on the Rock Creek Trail. To get there from the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, walk along West Basin Drive SW until you reach Ohio Drive SW; the trail is right across the street. Head north, and you'll pass by the famous Kennedy Center and, eventually, get to Georgetown. Head south to see Hains Point and the Washington Channel.

Lincoln Memorial
