Meeman-Shelby is publicly owned RV camping by Memphis that gives visitors the chance to rest and relax in the shade on large, wide-spaced RV sites. The park is gigantic with over 15,000 acres of land and water to explore, including portions of the Mississippi River.
The spacious campsites come equipped with water and electric, and there is also a dumping station located in the park. Campers can enjoy fishing or boating in the Mississippi, and there is boat rental available. There are miles of trails to explore as well as lots of different wildlife and fauna to check out.

Fort Pillow is roughly 40 miles north of Tennessee, and it was made famous for a battle that took place there during the Civil War. Today, there are archeological digs being conducted on part of the property in addition to it also being a park and campsite. This is one of the great historical attractions of Tennessee.
There is a playground for children to play on. There are lots of trails and historical sites to visit in this park that provide a great educational experience for both adults and little ones. There is a fascinating museum in the park that is devoted to the Battle of Fort Pillow and the Civil War in general.

This seasonal RV park is located about 70 miles east of Memphis and is easily accessible via highway 72. It offers 250 acres of quiet, wooded comfort with spacious campsites. This campground has a family-friendly atmosphere.

This is a quiet little park that offers tent, RV and rented cabin stays. There is a pond that boasts great fishing and a bunch of other activities to take part in during your stay. They are located about an hour and a half east of Memphis and can be accessed directly via the highway.
There are some games available at the camp as well as trails and the pond to keep you entertained. The campsites are large with some of them offering shade from the sun. This is a great place to bring the whole family.
