RV Rentals at Black Hills Sports Show & Outdoor Expo
The Black Hills Sports Show & Outdoor Expo features the latest models of motorhomes, trailers, campers, and other recreational vehicles. This is a not-for-profit show that benefits local charities, so you're doing good while shopping!
You'll also find ATVs and boats, along with hunting, fishing, and other outdoor gear.
ON-SITE AMENITIES
There are concessions available at the show, so you'll have a variety of food to choose from when you get hungry! There are also kids' activities including paintball, a strider bike obstacle course, and a kids' activity room.
LOCATION
The sports show takes place at The Summit Arena in South Dakota. The address is 444 Mt Rushmore Rd, Rapid City, South Dakota.
RVING AT THE EVENT
You may want to camp at the Black Hills Sports Show & Outdoor Expo. That way, you can try out any new outdoor gear or RV products that you purchase at the show. You may also want to rent an RV from RVshare before or during the show. Renting an RV ahead of time allows you to try it out and see if you like it before purchasing one of your own.
If you do camp at the sports show, consider taking a road trip to Provo or Des Moines after the show to extend your trip.
WHERE TO STAY
There are lots of RV campgrounds in Rapid City where you can stay during the show. Custer State Park is about an hour from the show and is also a great place to camp. Although it's a bit of a drive, you're surrounded by nature in the biggest state park in South Dakota.
HOW TO GET THERE
The Rapid City Regional Airport is the closest airport to the sports show. To get from the airport to the show, head northwest on Terminal Rd. Turn left onto Airport Rd. and keep right to continue toward SD-44 W. Continue straight onto SD-44 W and turn right onto 8th St./Mr. Rushmore Rd.
PARKING
Summit Arena has thousands of parking spaces available and parking is free.
