RV Rentals at Summer Camp Festival
2023 was the last year of the Summer Camp Festival.
Summer Camp Music Festival, created by Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment is being held on May 27-29 this year. The festival’s first event in 2001 brought about 1,000 patrons to enjoy over 15 bands on two stages during the 2-day event at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL. Since, Summer Camp has transformed the grounds annually, welcoming in more fans, more fun and way more music. This event is now the host of a variety of performances on multiple stages over three days (four if you make it to the Thursday Pre-Party!). With a variety of performances on multiple different stages throughout the weekend, you won't want to miss the fun!
ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT
The Summer Camp Festival is home to many experiences, activities, and musical greats. They have a Soulshine Experience where you can get your daily dose of loving goodness to empower, inspire, and educate others with the tools for a sustainable world. Make a difference and apply to join the Live Art Gallery, host a Soulshine workshop or activity, display your art installation, or become a SOULPATCH Collaborator!
Next, they have an activity known as The Campfire. This is where you can join in on interviews, previews, reviews, and more from your Summer Camp Counselors. Read up on exciting artist features, listen to the Summer Camp Podcast hosted by Camp Counselor Derek, view all currently running contests! The Campfire is your place to sit around and see what makes Summer Camp, Summer Camp!
Lastly, Field Day is Summer Camps annual official color war! Each year players battle in competing games such as tug-o-war, giant twister, dodgeball, an eating contest, and more. Sign your team up for a chance to become this year's Field Day Champion.
ON-SITE AMENITIES
They offer indoor shower trailers with air conditioning and hot water. These are available for a small fee in General Camping. There are also showers in the VIP Campground, and those facilities are free for those campers with VIP credentials.There are air conditioned bathroom trailers with full-flushing toilets and rinse sinks are provided in the General Campground just north of the RV area near the showers. There are also porta potties disbursed throughout the festival grounds.
Summer Camp offers over 25 varieties of food vendors, including fresh foods, pizzas, sandwiches, vegetables/fruits, breakfast foods (with coffee!) and much more.
LOCATION
Three Sisters Park is located on Route 29 just across from the Illinois River on the very south end of Chillicothe, IL. The park is located about 15 miles north of Peoria, IL. on Route 29.

LINEUP
They welcome back long-time hosts moe. and Umphrey's McGee. Headliners include Smashing Pumpkins, Zeds Dead, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, among many others.
RVING AT THE EVENT
There are various options for you if you'd like to experience this festival with an RV. With prices ranging from $250 to $500, there are plenty of amenities to make you feel right at home.
HOW TO GET THERE
From Chicago
Take I 55 South to I 80 West to I 180 South to Rt. 29 South to Chillicothe. Travel completely through Chillicothe on St. Rt. 29. Three Sisters Park will be located just past the Kroger & Super 8 Motel, on the West Side of Rt. 29. There is a large “Three Sisters Park” sign with an event description listed on the sign.
From St. Louis
Take I 55 North to I 74 West to Peoria. Take the first exit crossing Illinois River. This is Adams Street Rt. 24 East. Stay on Rt. 24 to Rt. 29 North to Chillicothe. Three Sisters Park will be located on the West side approximately five miles past the Mossville Caterpillar plant. There is a large “Three Sisters Park” sign with an event description listed on the sign.
From Indianapolis
Take I-74 West to Illinois. Exit onto Rt. 116 North at East Peoria, IL. Take St. Rt. 116 North out of town to Jct. 24 and 150 West, which takes you across the Illinois River to Peoria. Take the first exit to Chillicothe Rt. 29 North. Travel 18 miles, Three Sisters Park is located on the West side of Rt. 29 just before entering Chillicothe. There is a large “Three Sisters Park” sign with an event description listed on the sign.
From Downtown Peoria
Take Rt. 29 North out of Peoria. Travel 18 miles north after passing the bridge. Three Sisters Park is located on the West Side of Rt. 29 before entering Chillicothe. Three Sisters Park will be located on the West side approximately five miles past the Mossville Caterpillar plant. There is a large “Three Sisters Park” sign with an event description listed on the sign.
From Northwoods Mall and Rt. 150 area of Peoria
Take St. Rt. 150 West (War Memorial Drive) to I 74 West. Exit onto Rt. 6 North to Chillicothe. This will take you around Peoria, down the hill to where it ends at Rt. 29. At the T intersection, turn left onto Rt. 29 North. Three Sisters Park will be located on the West side approximately five miles past the Mossville Caterpillar plant. Three Sisters Park is located on the West side of Rt. 29 just before entering Chillicothe. There is a large “Three Sisters Park” sign with an event description listed on the sign.
