You can also enjoy pre-race live music events and watch the "Trackside Live!" show that features celebrity appearances, interviews with drivers, and more. Be sure to be near the track during the flyover when the MH-47 Chinooks soar above the speedway during the national anthem. There may also be opportunities to participate in parties and charity events that are connected with the event.
Atlanta Motor Speedway offers plenty of amenities for NASCAR fans. Driving an RV to Atlanta is a great way to travel for a NASCAR race! If you rent an RV from RVshare, you can stay at one of the many GEICO Campgrounds at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, including the Legends Premiere Campground. You’ll be able to watch the races and pop into your RV anytime you want to take a break. Race fans can stay in tent, dry, or full-hookup campsites overlooking the speedway, infield locations, and reserved and non-reserved areas outside the speedway. If you’re attending the race with your kids, you can reserve a spot at the family campgrounds, which have quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. If you want to be close to the action, book a spot in the infield.
Depending on the type of campsite you choose, you’ll have access to gravel-surface sites, water delivery, dump stations, sewer hookups, fire pits, showers, free THOR-provided camper repair service, and more. Staying onsite makes it easy to get around; you can take the AMS bus/tram from any campground to the Speedway grandstands. The cost for RV and tent campsites varies depending on the site type and location you choose and the date and length of your stay. Full-hookup sites are currently sold out, but you can join the waitlist or reserve a dry campsite by calling 877-9-AMS-TIX.
