ON-SITE AMENITIES

There are lots of amenities for visitors at the stadium! You can bring in coolers with beverages and food, or purchase concessions on-site. There is a Lost & Found, ATMs, places to purchase souvenirs, and places to store strollers while in the stadium seats. There are baby-changing stations as well, and shuttle service to different locations. You can find out more about offerings at the Speedway here. 

LOCATION

Atlanta Motor Speedway is located approximately 30 miles south of Atlanta on U.S. Highway 19 & 41 in Hampton in Henry County. Traffic for all Non-NASCAR events is encouraged to utilize exit 218 off of I-75 for GA 20.  Take GA 20 west for 10 miles and follow signs to Atlanta Motor Speedway.

RVING AT THE EVENT

Atlanta Motor Speedway offers numerous camping options for race fans at affordable prices in the GEICO Campgrounds throughout Speedway property during event weekends. Options include infield locations, reserved and non-reserved areas outside the Speedway and campsites overlooking the Speedway. For convenience, all camping areas are located near AMS bus/tram stops allowing for quick and easy access to the Speedway grandstands. RV and tent camping start as low as $TBA!

WHERE TO STAY

RV Camping

Whether you own a motorhome or use a rental from RVshare, RV camping is a great way to travel for a NASCAR race! You’ll be able to watch the races, but still pop in to your RV to get food, cold drinks, sunscreen or a hat, or even to take a break from the sun for a bit.

Hotels

If you decide not to camp, there are plenty of hotels in the area as well. You can find good deals on travel sites like Expedia or Travelocity as well.

HOW TO GET THERE

TRAVELING NORTHBOUND ON US 19/41:

NORTHBOUND 19/41 race traffic may enter through Lower Woolsey Rd. or the main entrance. Lower Woolsey Rd. traffic will be directed to park in the PURPLE parking lot. Main entrance traffic will be directed into the BLUE parking lot. Credentialed traffic enter at Entrance E off of 19/41 before the main entrance.

TRAVELING WESTBOUND ON GA HIGHWAY 20:

GA Hwy 20 race traffic will be directed to park in the PURPLE parking lot on the South/West side of the Atlanta Motor Speedway property. Credentialed traffic stays in the right-hand lane and enter off of Lower Woolsey at Entrance H.

TRAVELING SOUTHBOUND ON US 19/41:

SOUTHBOUND 19/41 race traffic must turn on to Speedway Blvd. and will be directed to park in the Red or Green parking lots on the north side of the Atlanta Motor Speedway property. Credentialed vehicles stay in the left-hand lane of 19/41, pass the main entrance and enter at Entrance E.

PARKING

NASCAR PARKING

All parking on the property of Atlanta Motor Speedway for the NASCAR weekends is free. AMS uses a forced parking plan to efficiently park the more than 850-acre property which includes numerous tent campers and RVs on-site race weekend. Traffic from the north on US Highways 19/41 will be turned onto Speedway Boulevard and parked in the Yellow, Red Green, and Purple lots. Traffic from the south on US Highways 19/41 will be turned into the AMS Main Entrance and parked in the Blue lot. Traffic from GA Highway 20 will be parked in the Weaver and Orange lots. Traffic will exit in the opposite direction on the same road as they entered Speedway property.

NASCAR Accessible Parking

Patrons in need of accessible parking should contact their AMS ticket representative or call the AMS Ticket office at 770-946-4211 to arrange for a credential. Accessible parking is located behind the Johnson Grandstand and Club One near Stair Tower 7. Display your state-issued placard or credential and you will be directed to the accessible parking lot upon entrance to the facility grounds.

NASCAR VIP Reserved Parking

Atlanta Motor Speedway offers VIP Reserved parking in an asphalt lot just feet from the entrance to the grandstand and adjacent to the Fan Zone in the middle of all the action for just $TBA for the whole weekend. Contact your AMS ticket representative to purchase reserved parking adjacent to the Earnhardt Grandstand or the Champions Grandstands or the AMS Ticket office.

Tickets can be purchased online. There are a variety of different options, from individual tickets to fan experiences you can purchase for the weekend!
