ON-SITE AMENITIES

Fans can make the whole weekend surrounding a NASCAR race a lot of fun! Guests are allowed to bring in one 14x14x14-inch soft-sided cooler or school backpack with food and beverages (alcohol is allowed, but no glass containers). They may also bring stadium cushions, blankets, cameras, binoculars, signs, and strollers. For a complete list of what is and isn’t allowed inside on Race Day, check here. There is also a Lost and Found, and the raceway even puts all items in an online catalog you can check later, in case you get home and discover something missing. There is ADA parking if you have a placard, and there are golf carts and trams to help those with mobility issues.

RVING AT THE EVENT

Whether you rent an RV from RVshare or bring your own motorhome, RV camping is a great way to travel to the NASCAR races! You get a unique, up-close view of all the action, and have all your food, drinks, and other necessities just a few steps away. No lugging chairs and coolers up stadium steps for you!

The Kansas City Speedway has six campgrounds to choose from including the infield, the Turn 3 terrace, the Turn 1 terrace, and more. RV camping at a NASCAR race is the perfect way to spend the weekend with friends or family, enjoying the race and making memories together. All motorhomes must be self-driven (no fifth wheel campers) and self-contained with running water and a holding tank for wastewater. You can find out more here.

• Walnut Grove RV Park - has 30 and 50-amp service with full hookups, a dump station, showers, laundry, a dog park, and WiFi. 

• Miller’s Kampark - 30 and 50-amp service, with water, sewer, and WiFi. There are showers and laundry, and a pool.

• Basswood Resort - has full hookups with 30 and 50-amp service, WiFi, a splash playground, a pool, and a pizza parlor. 

• Trailside RV Park & Campground - has pull-through sites, full hookups, showers, laundry, WiFi, a playground, a pool, an on-site snack store, a free dump station, and an RV camper service center next door. 

WHERE TO STAY

Hotels

If you decide not to camp, there are a variety of hotels in the area as well. There are plenty of chain hotels and motels, so if you have a favorite, check their website to see if they have one in Kansas City. You can often find good deals on travel sites like Expedia or Travelocity as well.

HOW TO GET THERE

From I-70: Take exit I-70 at 110th St. (exit 410). You’ll be routed to Speedway Blvd, and parking attendants will direct you from there.

From east of I-435: Take State Ave. west to the speedway.

From I-435: Take I-70 west to 110th St. (exit 410). If there are delays, take the Parallel Parkway exit. Take Parallel Parkway to 110th St. and take a left (near Target). You will be led back to State Ave. and then be directed to the KC Speedway lots. 

PARKING

General parking on the grass lots around the property is always free. Parking passes for the grass lots closest to the grandstands are included in season ticket packages. Non-season ticket holders can purchase parking passes while supplies last. Click here for more info.

Tickets can be purchased online. There are a variety of different options, from individual tickets to fan experiences you can purchase for the weekend.
