Latin Food Fest Los Angeles celebrates the culinary diversity of several Latin American countries. You can taste food from Central and South America along with the Caribbean. During the fest, you will be treated to a variety of well-known dishes, including tamales, tacos, and Cubano sandwiches. If you are interested in more regional dishes, then you can also sample llapingachos, which are Ecuadorian potatoes, and lomo saltado, which is a Peruvian stir fry. Attendees can also enjoy the full range of beverages from mezcals to piscos. There will be fine wines from Chile and Argentina. This the eighth year for the fest, and you will not want to miss out on all the fun.

Latin Food Fest Los Angeles features plenty of fun and entertainment for the whole family. Many people enjoy sampling the food as they listen to the upbeat sounds of Latin-inspired music. Latin Food Fest is located in Los Angeles State Historic Park, and there are many places to sit back and relax. The park features public restrooms and picnic tables throughout. There is ample room for festival attendees to listen to the music or snack on the food offerings. 

LOCATION

Los Angeles State Historic Park is located in the heart of Los Angeles, and it sits directly adjacent to Chinatown. With over 32 acres of open space, visitors can enjoy a spectacular view of downtown Los Angeles. There are several historical buildings within walking distance from the park. While downtown Los Angeles does not have many places to park your RV, you can find plenty of campgrounds just outside of the city. There are plenty of transportation options throughout the city, so you can easily find an RV park to get away from the hustle of the downtown area. Many of these parks are just minutes away from the City of Angels, but they still give you enough space to relax after a busy day. This park was once called Balboa RV Park, and it is located in the heart of Hollywood. When you stay at this site, you are only a short walk from the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Beverly Hills. There are 180 sites that feature full hookups with 30- or 50-amp electricity. This campground has been around since 1948, and many visitors comment on the fantastic hospitality offered by the on-site staff. There are also plenty of amenities, including a gym, free Wi-Fi and modern restrooms and showers.

Golden Shore RV Resort

This campground is a small park located in the suburbs of Long Beach. At this location, you have access to the beach. This campsite is also next to the Aquarium of the Pacific. There are 80 sites at this campground, and they all offer full hookups with 30- or 50-amp electricity. After a long day at the fest, you can enjoy the pool and hot tubs. There are laundry facilities located on site. The kitchen and store are available for those who need to pick up additional essential items for the trip.

WHERE TO STAY

If you want to enjoy the best of Latin Food Fest, you will want to stay outside the downtown area. You can find many RV parks surrounding the Los Angeles area, and many of them include beach access or other amenities. These parks will allow you to leave the rig and spend an exciting day enjoying the flavors of South America. After the festival, you can come back to the quiet of your campground and relax under the stars. 

If you do prefer staying in a hotel, there is no shortage of rooms near Los Angeles State Historic Park. You can find everything from budget motels to high-end hotels. The Royal Pagoda Motel is located within walking distance from the park. This spot offers complimentary Wi-Fi and parking. The Best Western Plus Dragon Gate Inn is a half-mile away from the fest, and it features a business center, free breakfast, and an on-site restaurant.

HOW TO GET THERE

Los Angeles is a major transportation hub, so you can easily get to the festival from nearby towns and cities. Whether you are traveling into the city by vehicle or plane, there are plenty of transportation options. For those traveling by RV or car, Interstate 5 and 10 are conveniently close to downtown's Los Angeles State Historic Park.

If you are flying into Los Angeles and will pick up the RV rental, several airports service the area. Ontario International Airport (ONT), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), John Wayne Airport (SNA), Long Beach Airport (LGB) and Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) are located nearby. 

For those staying in a local RV park, your best option will be public transportation. There are a few bus lines that will take you directly to Los Angeles State Historic Park. These bus lines include the Metro Gold Line, DASH Downtown B, DASH Lincoln Heights/Chinatown, and buses 28, 48, 76 and 83.

PARKING

Latin Food Fest Los Angeles is a major event in the city. Parking will be difficult to find, especially for those with an RV. If you want to attend the fest, you should think about using public transportation. However, there is a parking lot adjacent to the park, and it will cost you $TBA per day. There is limited free street parking also available.
