Phoenix is the capital city of Arizona, and it is known for warm temperatures and sunshine. This city also offers plenty of championship golf courses, high-end spas and lively nightclubs. Like Scottsdale, there are plenty of spots to take in the local atmosphere. Arizona Restaurant Week includes several restaurants in the Valley of the Sun. You don't want to miss out on these exclusive offerings from local restaurateurs. There is no set location for the event; you can simply show up at one of the participating restaurants across the state to enjoy the festivities.

WHERE TO STAY

RV camping

When you pick your town to enjoy the food during Arizona Restaurant Week, you can park your RV in one of the campgrounds throughout the area. Arizona is known for its magnificent desert landscapes. With its warm weather and constant sunshine, there are many places to enjoy your rig. During Restaurant Week, you can enjoy the fantastic food and wine from the best restaurants in the area. With an RV, you have your own place to stay in at the end of the day. Many of the RV parks in the region are well-rated for those visiting the area.

Hotels

While there are no participating hotels for the event, you can usually find plenty of lodging options wherever you land. You can choose from the many chain hotels that offer free breakfast and other amenities. From boutique hotels to budget motels, there is a wide range of options dotted all over the state.

Scottsdale also has a large number of hotel rooms for you to book as many travelers come to the city for the peaceful atmosphere. Scottsdale is the home of plenty of spa resorts, too, so you can relax and get pampered as you enjoy the delicious offerings from the local restaurants.

HOW TO GET THERE

Phoenix and Scottsdale is the hub where Arizona Restaurant Week began. Three airports service the Phoenix area, including Goodyear Airport, Deer Valley Airport and Sky Harbor International. Sky Harbor is one of the busiest airports in the United States.

It is easy to drive to and around Phoenix and Scottsdale. Several major freeways travel throughout the area, including Interstate 10, Interstate 17 and U.S. Route 60. Interstate 10 is a transcontinental route that travels from California to Florida.

Like other major cities, there are several ways to navigate around the area, including public transportation. You can grab a ride to the downtown areas of Phoenix or Scottsdale with a taxi, ride-sharing service or rental car. The Valley Metro Rail also runs throughout the area, and it can take you to some of the attractions in Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa.

PARKING

You can find some places to park your RV in Scottsdale and Phoenix, but these spaces may be limited. There are about 40 public and private parking structures in the downtown area of Phoenix where thousands of parking spaces are available throughout the night and day. The main structures are located from Fillmore to Lincoln Street.

In Scottsdale, there are several parking facilities in the Old Town area. These lots are free, and they are located at:

• Second Street and Brown Avenue

• Third Avenue Parking Garage

• Nordstrom Parking Garage

• Center for the Performing Arts Parking Garage

When you use a parking space in Scottsdale, you can take advantage of the free trolley service that travels throughout the downtown area.

TICKETS & PRICING

Arizona Restaurant Week allows you to enjoy a prix fixe dinner for about $33 to $44 to $55 per person, excluding beverages, tax and gratuity. These dinners are three-course meals, and they feature a variety of choices for vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. With some restaurants, the meals will be charged as a couple, so you will want to look at the menu before you place the order. You can check out all the options at the festival's website.
