Price: Varies

Rent an RV

Arizona Restaurant Week is your chance to savor prix-fixe dinners at a variety of restaurants, from Sedona to Tucson. Participating restaurants offer exclusive, multi-course meals for a fixed price. Bring a friend or romantic partner, or treat yourself. This promotion lasts for 10 days, so take this opportunity to see what Arizona's restaurants have to offer.

Most restaurants focus on dinner during Restaurant Week, but a few serve breakfast and lunch. Sample a variety of cuisines with time-honored recipes and fresh, high-quality ingredients. Arizona's famous chefs can't wait to take you on a journey through Arizona's unique culinary history. You'll also support small businesses and boost the local economy.

Participating restaurants offer their standard menus a la carte during this promotion. This event doesn't require tickets, but reservations help you secure a spot. Meals come with three pricing tiers to suit most budgets.

ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT

Arizona Restaurant Week gives you the chance to tour different restaurants and sample various cuisines. Each city has its own bars, venues, parks and tourist attractions, so travel around to see what Arizona has to offer.

ON-SITE AMENITIES

This event takes place throughout the state of Arizona. While you're visiting, browse local restaurants, stores, nightclubs, parks and tourist attractions. Popular Tucson attractions include the Tucson Botanical Gardens and Pima Air & Space Museum. If you're visiting Sedona, check out the Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village, Chapel of the Holy Cross and Slide Rock State Park.

LOCATION

Phoenix is the hub of Arizona Restaurant Week, so you can expect to find a lot of participating restaurants. However, vendors spread out across the state, from Sedona to Tucson. If you're staying in Phoenix, the capital of Arizona, you can visit a bustling metro area with resorts, golf courses, nightclubs and the Desert Botanical Garden. Phoenix also has plenty of small businesses that sell eclectic and handmade goods.

Phoenix is easy to access because it sits in the middle of multiple interstates, including I-17 and I-10. The climate is dry and hot, perfect for an RV adventure — as long as you bring plenty of water and sunscreen.

RVING AT THE EVENT

Arizona Restaurant Week doesn't have official RV parking. Before your trip, research the restaurants that you want to visit, and select a campground. If possible, make a reservation to secure your spot.

Arizona is hot in May, with average daily highs in the upper 90s, so choose a campground with water and electrical hookups. This allows you to stay cool and avoid heat stroke. If you're a swimmer, look for a campground with an accessible pool or lake.

Desert Sands RV Park entices visitors with its swimming pools and relaxing environment. Desert Sands RV Park is also close to numerous attractions, such as the Desert Botanical Garden. While at the campground, you can enjoy free cable and wireless internet.

Paradise RV Resort offers well-maintained grounds with an on-site restaurant. Get out and stretch your legs with their golf course, swimming pool, pickleball courts, game room, clubhouse and parks. They also have a library and laundry facilities.

Located in Buckeye, Leaf Verde RV Resort features spacious sites with 30- and 50-amp hookups. Amenities include a swimming pool, pet area and laundry facilities. You can enjoy the local shopping and dining options as you relax at this peaceful resort.

WHERE TO STAY

While Arizona Restaurant Week doesn't have any participating hotels, you can usually find plenty of lodging options wherever you land. You can choose from the many chain hotels that offer free breakfast and other amenities. From boutique hotels to budget motels, Arizona has a wide range of options dotted all over the state.

Scottsdale has a large number of hotel rooms for you to book, as many travelers come to the city to enjoy its peaceful atmosphere. Scottsdale is home to plenty of spa resorts, too, so you can relax and be pampered as you enjoy the delicious offerings from the local restaurants.

HOW TO GET THERE

If you want to fly to Arizona and rent an RV, three airports serve the Phoenix area: Goodyear Airport, Deer Valley Airport and Sky Harbor International. Sky Harbor is one of the busiest airports in the United States.

Phoenix and Scottsdale are easy to navigate. You can choose from several major freeways, including I-10, I-17 and US-60. I-10 is a transcontinental route that stretches from California to Florida.

Like other major cities, Phoenix offers several transit options. You can reach downtown Phoenix or Scottsdale with a taxi, ride-sharing service or rental car. The Valley Metro Rail also runs throughout the area, and it can take you to some of the attractions in Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa.

PARKING

Parking options vary depending on the restaurants that you choose. If you visit a restaurant in a major city, look for street parking and parking garages. Available lots in Phoenix include:

• Public Works Garage

• Cityscape Public Parking Garage

• Two Renaissance Square Parking

• 4th Ave Lot

Some lots come with a free trolley service. Smaller restaurants may have individual parking lots with no meters. However, call ahead to see if they accommodate RVs.

TICKETS & PRICING

Each dinner costs $33, $44 or $55 per person or couple, excluding drinks, taxes and tips. Some restaurants include a beverage with the meal. You can also buy regular dishes a la carte.
