Located on beautiful and historic Tybee Island, River’s End Campground and RV Park is one of the few RV parks that are east of Savannah. Located on the tip of Tybee Island, the park offers views of Calibogue Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. Tybee Island was one of the major defensive points held by the Confederacy during the Civil War, and the area is well-represented by historic sites, like Battery Habersham, Fort Screven, the Tybee Island Light Station and Museum and the Fort Pulaski National Monument.
You’re literally steps from the beach and waves when you stay at River’s End Campground & RV Park. The site has its own general store and 24-hour vending where you can get everything from batteries to fire-starting equipment. It is home to Tybee Island’s largest swimming pool and has a lounge with several TVs and board games.
“Beautiful, clean campground. Friendly and accommodating staff. The lady in the office had a person escort us to our spot for our RV and assisted us with backing in. Fellow campers are very nice as well. Peaceful and beautiful place to stay on Tybee Island. Pool is clean and nice. Bathhouses and restrooms are clean and nice. Places to eat and drink, shop, and beach access is within walking distance.” – Tonia, Google Review,
