Compass Park (formerly known as Cypress Hill RV Park) is within De Soto National Forest, an area known for its beautiful trees and waterways. This family-owned RV campground in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, is very small. However, you can expect great amenities and a solid Wi-Fi connection throughout the campground.
The pool at Compass Park is filled with salt water, which is unique in this part of the state. At the on-site camp store, you can buy laundry supplies as well as snacks and drinks. To top it off, the sites at Compass Park are equipped with fire pits.
“For the cost, this is a great park. Showers have unending hot water. Plenty of fish in the pond. The noise from the highway is dampened by the hills leading up to the park. Propane is inexpensive and is filled on-site. Their shop has emergency items that guests may have forgotten. The staff has always been able to lend a hand in locating places in the area and can print maps to where you need to go.” – Ausetisis, Google Review
