This large campground is a short distance from Interstate 40 in Oklahoma City. Mustang Run RV Park

Mustang Run RV Park is in the southwest part of Oklahoma City. Each site comes with full hookups. Twin Fountains RV Resort

Twin Fountains RV Resort is a family-owned campground that is about equal distance from Interstate 35 and Interstate 40. After a full day of exploring Oklahoma City, get a drink and dinner at their bar and grill. If the attraction you want to visit is within three miles of this campground, get a complimentary ride in their limousine. Play in the seasonal swimming pool or relax in the hot tub. Your dog can even get groomed at this campground. 

Mingo RV Park

It is only a five-minute drive from Mingo RV Park to downtown Tulsa. You will love staying at this gated campground. Play a game of horse on the basketball court or see who is the champion at horseshoes. If you have children along, they will adore the playground. Your dog will enjoy exercising in the dog run. Tulsa RV Ranch

Tulsa RV Ranch is about 15 miles south of Tulsa. Dine at their grill and get a drink at the bar on the weekends. This campground has a general store and a liquor store. Musical groups often perform in the amphitheater. You can pick up fishing supplies at the marina and a drink at the bar.

Where to Urban Camp in Oklahoma

Oklahoma City and Tulsa have most of the urban campgrounds in Oklahoma. It is only 100 miles between these two cities, so it is very feasible to explore both cities while leaving your RV parked in one of these urban campgrounds. There are more urban campgrounds along Interstate 35 than Interstate 40.
