Visitors can wander off-trail to explore the geology and hike among the nooks and gnomes. This remote but very popular campground is a great base for exploring the goblins and the nearby San Rafael Swell. Spring and fall are the best times to visit, as summer temperatures can rise quickly in the high desert.
Only 32 full hookup sites catering to fully contained larger RVs on over 100 acres of land surrounded by BLM lands. Dark sky views, over 1/4 mile of Fremont River runs through the RV park. Campfires allowed, large spaces, pull-thru sites at least 100' long
“Wonderful spacious campground with amazing hosts. Felt like we were "roughing" it out in the beautiful scenery with all the luxury and convenience of full hookups. Loved the extra long and extra wide campsites. Perfect location to explore many locations including Swing Arm City, Giles, Hanksville, etc, etc. Easy to find and access in the dark. Right off the highway but highway is not a disturbance at all. Not to mention the amazing rates! Will definitely be returning soon and many times. This is a fairly new campground but you can see the owners are very serious about being there long term and constantly improving! Would recommend a stay there to anyone!
