RV Rentals at New York State RV Show
The New York State RV Show showcases the newest models of motorhomes, campers, and trailers. You'll also find RV parts and accessories and information on campgrounds and travel destinations. Dealers will be offering on-the-spot financing and other deals especially for show-goers. The fair is held at the New York State Fairgrounds, a massive complex with more than 300,000 square feet of exhibit space.
ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT
This year's New York State RV Show will feature several RV dealers filling four large buildings at the fairgrounds. RVs are available to tour and inquire about, including new, close-out, and used models. There are destination and travel booths at the show as well, plus parts and accessories for RVs of all types.
ON-SITE AMENITIES
There are concessions available at the New York State Fairgrounds, so you'll have several food and beverage options while you browse the show. There are places to eat near the fairgrounds if you want to travel off-site as well. Scooters can be rented from Mother Goose Medical Supply if you call before the show to reserve one.

RVING AT THE EVENT
You can stay at the Empire RV Park at the New York State Fairgrounds while you check out the RV Show. This campground offers full hookups. Every campsite varies in size.
Here are some tips for staying at this campground for the New York State RV Show:
Campers must bring their own water, sewage, and electrical lines to use the hookups. Cords cannot be placed where vehicles can drive over them.
Your pets are allowed to stay with you at your campsite, but they cannot be left unattended. If you plan on visiting the show, make sure someone stays at camp to watch your animals.
Trash dumpsters are available for you to use at the campground. However, you should still bring your own trash bags.

WHERE TO STAY
You can stay at another Syracuse campground if the Empire State RV Park becomes full. There are some hotels in the area to choose from as well.
Sunset Park Campground is found on Cross Lake, and it can accommodate most RVs. You can swim, boat, and fish while you camp, and there is also an on-site recreation hall.
Pleasant Lake Campground has 110 RV-friendly campsites, all on a small lake. Multiple events are held at the campground in the summer, and there is a camp store on site.
The Best Western: The Inn at the Fairgrounds is a nearby hotel within walking distance of the RV Show. It offers its guests free Wi-Fi, a free breakfast every morning, and access to a golf course.
HOW TO GET THERE
The closest airport to the New York State Fairgrounds is the Syracuse Hancock International Airport. To get to the fairgrounds from the airport, take Airport Boulevard to I-81 S. From there, take I-690 W to Geddes. Take exit 7 toward the fairgrounds, and take State Fair Boulevard to the destination.
PARKING
The New York State Fairgrounds has parking for almost 14,000 vehicles in four large lots. Parking is free.
TICKETS & PRICING
Attendance at the New York State RV Show is free for children under 16. For everyone else, tickets cost $10 for general admission. All-show passes will be available at the door for $6 on Thursday, February 27.
