RV Rental Company Comparisons

When you rent an RV, you will be taking advantage of one of the best ways to see the country. The open road awaits, and you can stop wherever and whenever you like. There are out-of-the-way boondocking opportunities as well as RV resorts that are full of travelers and fun amenities.

You have three choices when it comes to finding an RV to rent. First, you can seek out a big national company that rents RVs. These companies have a large selection of different kinds of RVs to rent, but their general disadvantage is having only a few locations. If you’re close to one, then you’re in great shape. If, however, you’re in an area where they don’t have an office, then you might have to travel a long distance to find something.

Your second choice is to find a local business that rents RVs. These could be attached to service stations, dealerships, or other businesses that relate to the world of RVing, however tangentially. Your advantage with this method is that you can almost always find someplace to rent an RV. The downside is that you won’t usually have a great selection of vehicles from which to choose. Still, in many cases, the cost of renting an RV is usually quite reasonable.

The final option is the best: peer-to-peer. That’s where you rent an RV from another RVer. There are RV enthusiasts all around the country, and in many areas, there are hundreds of opportunities from which to choose. There could even be thousands in large metropolitan areas. You can even find RVs to rent in places you might not expect. One of the biggest perks of renting from other RVers is that you get the benefit of the personal touch. The other person can advise you on everything about the RV you rent.
