Robert H. Treman State Park occupies 1,110 acres in southwestern New York state. The park is a fascinating 14-mile canyon carved through the granite of New York by Enfield Creek. Along the length of the gorge, hikers observe an untouched preserve. Several waterfalls grace the park; plants and wildlife lend to its natural quality. The park is close to Ithaca, Elmira, and Binghamton.

Spruce Row Campground & RV Park sits within the city limits of Ithaca. There are 67 RV campsites with electrical and water hookups, 23 of which also provide sewer access. Robert H. Treman State Park is a short drive away as are several other parks and businesses. Campsites at this park handle RVs up to 65 feet in length and 50 feet in width. Visitors can expect additional facilities such as restrooms with flush toilets, showers, a game room/rec hall, a 70-foot-by-103-foot swimming pool, a fishing pond, picnic tables, and fire rings. Activities include horseshoe pits, a bicycle rental, nature trails, swimming, angling, mini-golf, and a children's playground.

Pinecreek Campground sits on 42 wooded acres 9 miles southwest of Ithaca alongside Robert H. Treman State Park. This campground offers over 67 RV campsites with electrical and water hookups, 58 of which provide sewer hookups. Campsites can accommodate RVs up to 60 feet in length and 40 feet in width. Facilities include a camp store/office, restrooms with flush toilets, showers, a laundry facility, a swimming pool, a fishing pond, and a playground for the kids.

Robert H. Treman State Park is a busy and popular state park. Five trails offer spectacular views with rest stops along the way. Those trails include:
Enfield Falls Swimming Hole: 0.4 miles
Rim Trail and Gorge Trail Loop: 4.3 miles
Lucifer Falls via Gorge Trail: 11 miles
Enfield Creek Gorge Trail and Rim Trail Short Loop: 12 miles
Treman Park and Butterfield Falls Park Loop: 23.4 miles
While the Enfield Falls Swimming Hole Trail remains open year-round, the others close when icy conditions appear. The stream-fed swimming hole is one of the principal attractions of the park during the hot summer months.
How to Get to
Robert H. Treman State Park
The park is easy to find in Ithaca by following the signs that appear everywhere in the city.
To get to Robert H. Treman State Park from New York City, take Interstate 280 West for 14 miles until it merges with Interstate 80 W. Travel I-80 W for 64 miles. Watch for the ramp toward Interstate 380 North and turn right toward Scranton. Travel I-380 N for 39 miles until you reach the exit toward Interstate 81 North and follow the signs to Ithaca.
To get to Robert H. Treman from Albany, NY, take Interstate 90 West for 13 miles to Exit 25A toward Interstate 80 West and Schenectady. Drive I-80 W for 114 miles straight into Ithaca.
