Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park is located on St. George Island off the Florida Panhandle. This Florida state park on the Gulf of Mexico is nearly 2,000 acres large and is home to nine miles of white sandy beaches. The park is named for Dr. Julian G. Bruce, who was a dentist, Chamber of Commerce president, county commissioner, and former soldier in nearby Apalachicola.

The campground at Dr. Julian G. Bruce St. George Island State Park is home to 60 campsites that boast both electric and water hookups. Of these, six sites contain concrete pads as well as walkways to the campground's restrooms. The maximum available RV length is 43 feet. Pets are welcome as long as they are properly contained. Amenities include showers, a dump station, a nature trail, a playground, and proximity to the beach.

From Apalachicola, take Highway 98 across Apalachicola Bay to Eastpoint and then turn right onto State Route 300. Drive across Apalachicola Bay again, turn left onto East Gulf Beach Drive, and drive to the park's entrance.
