Ridgway State Park RV & Campground Guide

Colorado

Ridgway State Park is Colorado at its most picturesque—brilliant blue skies and rugged, snowcapped peaks are reflected in the calm waters of Ridgway Reservoir, creating a scene that’s straight out of a nature magazine. See the view in its full glory as you kayak or paddleboard across the lake, or immerse yourself in the wilderness with a trip down the park’s hiking and biking trails. It might seem unlikely, but the park is even more spectacular during the winter snows, and cross-country skiers come to glide through silent, glistening forests. Any time of year is a good time to check out this southwestern Colorado park, which sits 17 miles south of Montrose and 14 miles north of Ouray.
