Brunet Island State Park RV & Campground Guide

Wisconsin

Located between the communities of Holcombe and Cobban, Wisconsin, Brunet Island State Park is known for its many white-tailed deer and thickets of hemlock trees. The park is split between two areas: the 169-acre island in the middle of the Chippewa River and the other 1,225 acres on the eastern bank. The park's namesake, Jean Brunet, was crucial in developing the upper Chippewa River communities in the early 1800s. His influence is still felt today.
