Wenatchee Confluence State Park is located where the Wenatchee and Columbia rivers meet in north-central Washington. Areas for sports, like basketball, volleyball, tennis, and baseball, are located at the north end of this park while the south end is a wetland. Many bring their bike to this park and jump on the 10-mile, looped Apple Capital Loop Trail along the Columbia River. Swimming, boating, and fishing are popular activities at this park in Wenatchee, a city on the eastern edge of the Okanogan Wenatchee National Forest about 145 miles east of Seattle. This park’s location along Washington state highway 2 about 10 miles south of Orondo and near Sunnyslope makes it very accessible.

The south end of the park is an undeveloped natural wetland that those who love to watch wildlife and birds will adore visiting. A biking trail and multi-use trail run through the park. Two boat launches and plenty of trailer parking makes this a great place to go boating or play on your Jet Ski. Fishing opportunities abound in the park, and you can also go swimming.
How to Get to
Wenatchee Confluence State Park
If you are in Leavenworth, Washington, then reach Wenatchee Confluence State Park by getting on US 2 East. While the road will make some turns, take it until you reach Sunnyslope, Washington. Then, turn a slight right to get on Easy Street and a left to get on Penny Road. Turn right onto Chester Kimm Road and a left onto Old Station Road. You'll take this road until you reach the park.
